Ice Cream Time at Hillerød City Museum

Most children love ice cream – and when the sun is shining during the summer holidays, quite a few often find their way into hungry stomachs.

At Hillerød City Museum, you can explore the history of ice cream and discover plenty of stories about this favourite summer treat.

The Last Treasure of The Drilling X at Elværket

At Elværket in Hillerød, you can see three coins that may have belonged to one of Denmark’s most notorious safecrackers, The Drilling X. This small summer exhibition tells the story of the man behind more than 60 safe burglaries across Zealand and Funen in the 1930s.
