Autumn Break at the Nivaagaard Collection: Creative and Historic Family Fun

This autumn holiday, the Nivaagaard Collection invites families to take part in fun, hands-on workshops and historical activities that spark creativity and curiosity.

Creative la Cour Workshop at the Museum

Art Inspired by Janus la Cour

Join the museum’s resident artist for a hands-on workshop where children and adults create together, inspired by painter Janus la Cour. A colourful space for creative expression and family time.

Open to All Ages

The workshop welcomes all – no experience needed. Free for children with annual passes or with a valid museum ticket.

In the Footsteps of a Collector

Two Locations, One Story

The journey begins at the museum and continues at the historic Brickworks Kiln. Discover the story of Johannes Hage, the visionary behind both cultural landmarks.

Activities Across Sites

Creative workshops take place at the museum from 11:00 to 14:00. From 13:00 to 15:00, families can join engaging activities at the kiln – just a 600-metre walk through the park. One museum ticket grants access to both.
