Kap Halsnæs 2025 | Discover the taste of Halsnæs – a beer and food experience by the harbour

Halsnæs Bryghus invites you to KAP – an evening where flavour takes centre stage. A locally inspired three-course menu is thoughtfully paired with house-brewed beers to offer a full-bodied experience.

The taste of Halsnæs – from the land to your plate

Out on the very edge of the peninsula, a menu awaits that celebrates the local landscape and its natural richness. Each dish is crafted with seasonal ingredients and integrated with beer – both in flavour and concept.

Starter rooted in the region

A crisp beetroot rösti topped with creamy goat’s cheese from Tothaven and porter-glazed hazelnuts made with Vådbinderen, a house-brewed English-style porter. Served with beer bread baked with the IPA Lynæs.

A main with depth

Slow-braised pork neck in brown ale Sælhunden, served with pickled tomatoes, rosemary and thyme roasted carrots, crushed potatoes, fresh herbs and a rich beer gravy.

Sweet coastal ending

Cheesecake with sea buckthorn from the cliffs near Knud’s House and mango – a perfect balance of tart and sweet, ideally matched with a dark porter.

A beer pairing that elevates the meal

The beer menu is carefully curated to complement each course. Lynæs IPA for the starter, Sælhunden brown ale for the main, and Vådbinderen porter for dessert – every pairing is crafted to enhance the overall experience.

An evening in the heart of the harbour

Hosted at Halsnæs Bryghus, the event takes place in a warm and rustic harbour setting. A place where good food, quality beer and welcoming surroundings come together to create a memorable evening.
