Experience Google Street View as Art – Louisiana Museum of Modern Art
Experience 9 Eyes – Jon Rafman’s groundbreaking work on life in the digital surveillance society. A powerful and thought-provoking exhibition about technology, everyday life, and existence.
Life Through Digital Surveillance – 9 Eyes by Jon Rafman
For the first time, 9 Eyes is presented as a solo exhibition – a major work in contemporary art that has been evolving since 2008. Based on images from Google Street View, Jon Rafman presents a moving collection of photographs that reflect both the absurd and the deeply human. The work serves as a portrayal of our digital present, where everyday moments and existential scenes are captured unfiltered through the cold gaze of surveillance technology. 9 Eyes continues to evolve and is regularly updated by the artist, but it already stands as a milestone in Rafman's practice and in recent art history.
Who is Jon Rafman?

His works explore how digital technologies and online communities shape our perception of reality – emotionally, socially, and existentially. Rafman often combines material sourced from the internet with both a critical and empathetic eye, and he is known for exposing the fragile and quirky aspects of modern life in the age of digital surveillance.
