Christmas at Knud Rasmussen’s House – A magical exhibition for the whole family

Step into a special Christmas atmosphere at Knud Rasmussen’s House, where this year’s exhibition brings to life a winter expedition more than 100 years ago.

A different kind of Christmas story

‘Peter’s Christmas with Captain Cleveland’

The exhibition tells a whimsical and heart-warming tale of celebrating Christmas far from home. Inspired by the classic Peter’s Christmas, visitors experience how the holiday spirit was kept alive during a polar expedition.

Activities for all ages

Elf hunt and homemade Christmas cards

Families can explore the festively decorated house while searching for hidden elves. Children and adults alike can create and send hand-painted Christmas cards to loved ones.

A historical setting full of holiday spirit

Light, warmth, and atmosphere

The house is beautifully adorned with seasonal decorations, glowing lights, and a new light installation. Wood-burning stoves and fireplaces spread warmth and cosiness during the dark winter days, creating the perfect holiday outing.
