A puzzle filled with history and imagination

Hidden inside the historic walls of Esrum Mill lies a mysterious diary. It belonged to Anna, the miller’s daughter, who lived here in the late 1800s. Anna conducted secret experiments with the power of water – long before her time – but her ideas were ignored, simply because she was a young girl.

Now it’s up to your family to decode the clues, solve the riddles, and uncover the invention Anna once designed.

One hour of family teamwork and discovery

This experience combines storytelling, nature, and logic. The game lasts about an hour and is perfect for children and grown-ups who enjoy solving puzzles together.

As you explore the mill, you'll follow in Anna’s footsteps and reconnect with a piece of forgotten innovation and history.

Good to know

The game runs during the autumn break at Esrum Mill and is created especially for families with children aged 6. It can be done at your own pace and requires no special knowledge – only curiosity and collaboration.
