Stay overnight in the open air | shelters or nature campsites in North Zealand
Take a break from everyday life and discover one of the many nature heroes in North Zealand. Some of them are quite unique and have a great location and good facilities, such as a campfire site and water. Many shelters must be booked in advance; this is done by the Danish Nature Agency.

Booking of Shelters
Some shelters can be booked through the Danish Nature Agency’s booking system or via Friluftsguiden.dk, where information about facilities and routes is already available. However, you need to create a user account on Friluftsguiden. You are welcome to use shelters without a booking, but guests with a confirmed reservation have priority.
