GREED & WAR – powerful dance in the greenhouse at Munkeruphus
NEXT ZONE visits Munkeruphus with the dance performances GREED and WAR, choreographed by artistic director Lene Boel. In the distinctive setting of the greenhouse, electronic music, light and expressive movement come together in two intense works exploring greed and war through contemporary dance.
GREED – a performance about greed
GREED is a powerful, playful and unsettling dance performance exploring human greed and its significance in the world of today and tomorrow.
Through striking visuals, extreme physical expression, newly composed electronic music and scenographic lighting, NEXT ZONE creates a thought-provoking experience that speaks directly to the senses.
From hip-hop to contemporary dance
The choreography draws on Electro, Locking, Hip Hop, Krump, Popping and contemporary dance. These styles merge into a distinctive choreographic language, while the lighting design serves as the performance’s scenographic element, shaping a nuanced space around the dancers.
WAR – an intense electro solo
WAR is the first part of the work 4 HORSEMEN. The solo unfolds in a red performance space and interprets war through an intense physical and electronic expression.
GREED and WAR are choreographed by NEXT ZONE’s artistic director, Lene Boel. The performances have been presented both in Denmark and internationally and have received production support from the Danish Arts Foundation.
The event begins with a short introduction by Lene Boel.

The performances are recommended for ages 7 and above. Registration via Billetto is required.
