Experience the North Coast by bike

From Dronningmølle, the route takes you through rolling countryside past Lake Søborg and Bronze Age burial mounds until the landscape opens up and the Kattegat and Rågeleje’s iconic beach huts come into view.

Facts about the route

  • Distance: 45 km.
  • Good to know: The route passes through gently rolling countryside behind the coastal towns. Most of the route is on tarmac, with a few sections on gravel. Be aware that the coastal section has more traffic.
  • Parts of the route follow the Esrum Å Trail, Cycle Route 703 and Cycle Route 47, where you can follow the signs.

Tip for your trip

Take the train to Dronningmølle and ride back towards Rågeleje – or the other way around. This way, you avoid taking the same route back and get an even better experience of the North Coast. You can also take your bike on the train free of charge.
