Græsted Station transforms into a Halloween wonderland

Historic Græsted Station is transformed into a Halloween wonderland filled with decorations, lights and mysterious creatures. Children and adults alike are invited to dress up in their spookiest costumes and enjoy a day of thrills, laughter and family fun.

Inside the festively decorated carriage shed, visitors can enjoy a selection of refreshments, including coffee, tea, soup, popcorn and cake, surrounded by the charm of the historic railway.

All aboard the Ghost Train

One of the main attractions is the Ghost Train, departing from Græsted Station towards either Gilleleje or Mårum. Step aboard the vintage train for an atmospheric railway journey with a touch of Halloween magic.

The journey lasts approximately 40 minutes and is an enjoyable experience for the whole family. Children are encouraged to wear their favourite spooky costumes and join in the Halloween fun.

Tickets are available at Græsted Station before departure and cannot be purchased online.

Brave visitors can venture beneath the historic station and experience a particularly eerie side of Halloween. But who – or what – might be lurking in the shadows?

Getting to Halloween in Græsted

Græsted Station is located at Græsted Stationsvej 84 in North Zealand and is easily accessible by both train and car.

Local trains stop directly at the station, and parking is available at the station and along Holtvej.

Halloween with the Heritage Railway offers a memorable family experience combining vintage trains, fancy dress and plenty of spooky fun.

Practical Information:

• Date: October 31st 2026 from 2 -8 PM.
• The train leaves from Græsted Station at 14.18, 15.18, 16.18,17.18, 18.18 and 19.18
• Access to the station is free. The train journey lasts approximately 40 minutes. Children in fancy dress travel free, with a maximum of two children per paying adult. Tickets cost DKK 60 for adults and DKK 30 for children.
• Tickets are sold at the station.
