The Bistro

At Store Kro, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. For lunch, choose from a selection of traditional Danish open sandwiches (smørrebrød), followed by cheese and something sweet. It can be hard to decide, but you can view the menu in advance so you are well prepared.

From 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the bistro is open for à la carte dining. Choose from carefully selected dishes or opt for the chef’s three-course menu. Enjoy your meal in the cosy surroundings and long history of the inn. Book your table in advance.

The inn offers double rooms, business double rooms and suites, a restaurant and bistro with à la carte dining, 6 conference rooms, 5 function rooms, the Fredensborg Palace Museum, a garden and free parking.

Rooms in the main building are furnished with beautiful antique furniture in various styles, a workspace, comfortable armchairs, flat-screen TVs and modern bathrooms.
