October is grape harvest month at Garbolund Vineyard

After a year of carefully tending the vines and grapes, it is time to reap the fruits of the work. On selected days in October, you are invited to spend some enjoyable days in the vineyard and take part in the grape harvest.

Grape harvesting is a fun activity for the whole family, including children. You can join on your own, with friends, or bring the whole family – both younger and older children can enjoy being part of this shared experience.

Harvest activities on the following dates

• Saturday 10 October 2026
• Thursday 15 October 2026

Both days from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm, followed by lunch, wine and a relaxed get-together at the farm.

Please note: Harvest dates are subject to change depending on the weather.

Good to know

Please note that the date may change if the grapes are not ready to be harvested or if the weather does not allow the harvest to go ahead.
If you have registered for a date that is changed, you will receive an email with updates.
All harvest days start at 9.30 am and finish at approximately 1.30 pm.
After the day's work, a late shared lunch will be served at the farm.

Please bring

• Clothing suitable for the weather (remember that it can be windy in the vineyard)
• A small stool to sit on while picking the grapes, if you wish
• Garden secateurs for cutting off the bunches of grapes
• A water bottle
