Visit Fredensborg Palace during the summer holidays - Guided tour of the Palace and the Palace Garden

Experience Fredensborg Palace and The Reserved Garden on guided tours from July 1st to August 4th, 2024. Guided tours include historical tales and beautiful surroundings.

From July 1st to August 4th, 2024, Fredensborg Palace and The Reserved Garden open their doors to visitors who wish to experience a guided tour through this historical site. Knowledgeable guides will take you on a journey through time, where you'll hear fascinating stories about the palace's octagonal pleasure pavilions, the rich wildlife including ducks and deer, and the impressive sculptures adorning the garden.

Adjacent to the palace are the royal private garden, the orangery, and the historic herb garden, which supply fresh flowers, herbs, and vegetables to the court. These three places are only open to the public during the summer tours. The rest of the garden, which includes Denmark's finest baroque layout, is freely accessible year-round.

You can join the tours every day between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The tour starts with 45 minutes in the palace, followed by an additional 45 minutes in the palace garden, where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Please note that the tours at 1:45 PM and 2:45 PM will be conducted in English.

• The tours begin every 15 minutes.
• The tours at 13.45 and 14.45 are in English.
• Price: DKK 135 per adult and DKK 50 for children (6-17 years), children under 6: free.

• There is parking at the Palace; if there are many cars, there is parking at Jernbanegade.
• The public part of Fredensborg Castle Gardens is open all year round. From 1. July - 4. August, it is possible to visit the Reserved Garden and the Herb Garden on your own from 9:00-17:00
