Stop by for a rural experience
Enjoy a break in the café, join the farm’s activities and experience life on a working farm up close.
Tranegård is located in the village of Laugø in North Zealand, a landscape shaped by smallholdings and farms. The white buildings with their distinctive gables make Tranegård stand out. The farm has been family-run for generations, traditionally combining livestock with crop farming. In 2018, it was converted to organic, and since 2021, Jersey dairy cows once again graze the fields.
The farm is operated with a strong commitment to sustainability, natural cycles and respect for animals. Animal welfare is a top priority, and the cows are free to express their natural behaviour. During summer, they graze on open fields, and in winter they stay in straw-filled loose housing barns where they thrive in a calm and safe environment.
The hosts at Tranegård are passionate about farming and sustainability and are eager to share their knowledge, inspiration and rural hospitality with their visitors.
