Tothaven Visitor Farm | Farm Shop, Baby Animals & Café Experience
Near the old fishing village of Kikhavn by Hundested lies the charming visitor farm Tothaven, where you can meet dairy goats, ponies, cute young animals, and friendly farm creatures.
Here, the children can cuddle the young animals, and the keepers are ready to tell you about the animals. Jump into the straw, relax in the hammocks under the lime trees, enjoy your picnic in the garden, or indulge in the farm’s own ice cream in the little café.
Visitor Farm
On the old farm, there are dairy goats, ponies, donkeys, Kunekune pigs, cows, ducks, turkeys, honey bees, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, and cats. There are always lots of cute young animals to cuddle, and the young, enthusiastic keepers are happy to help you and tell you about the animals.
Here you can experience the farm and the animals at your own pace. Say hello to the animals in Tothaven’s fields, jump into the straw, relax in the hammocks under the lime trees, eat your picnic in the garden, and enjoy an ice‑cream, coffee, or a piece of homemade cake in the little café.
Entrance to the Visitor Farm
DKK 85 (Children 0–1 year: free). Buy entrance tickets – this way, you’re sure there’s space for you when you arrive. A pony ride on one of the farm's ponies: DKK 25. You may not bring your own dog to Tothaven due to the many free‑roaming animals.
Opening Hours
Tothaven is open every weekend, public holiday, and during school holidays from Easter until the autumn break between 14:00 and 17:00. (However, Mondays during the summer holidays are closed.) See opening hours.
Dairy
Tothaven also has its own little farm dairy, where handcrafted ice‑lollies and cheeses are produced from the milk of the farm’s dairy goats. Taste the ice cream, the cheese, and the other homemade delicacies in the café and farm shop. Learn more about the dairy on the farm.
Farm Shop
The small self‑service farm shop by the road is open every day, all year from sunrise to sunset. Here you can buy cheese, ice cream, goat milk soap, and beeswax cream.
