VisitNorthZealand

With a strong local foundation and a global outlook, we coordinate, market and develop tourism across North Zealand – benefiting businesses, local communities and visitors alike. We do this in close cooperation with local, regional and national stakeholders to build awareness and position North Zealand as a preferred destination, both in Denmark and internationally.

VisitNorthZealand is a tourism partnership working across the four North Zealand municipalities of Fredensborg, Gribskov, Halsnæs and Hillerød. Together, we harness the region’s cohesion, consolidate and develop its key strengths and attractions, and bring a shared story to the world that strengthens North Zealand as a brand and destination. This is achieved through leading digital platforms, physical materials, and targeted PR and communication efforts.

VisitNorthZealand is a non-profit business association owned by the four municipalities and funded through a combination of public funds and contributions from the tourism industry, which are invested in marketing the destination. As a destination management organisation, VisitNorthZealand is eligible to apply for development funding schemes, including those administered by the Danish Business Development Board, which primarily support destination development.
