Easter at Frederiksborg – Experience Nordic Myths and Folktales

This Easter, Frederiksborg invites you on a journey through Nordic myths and legends. Discover the mysterious tales of the Nøkken, Mutter Grib, and the Nisse while drawing inspiration from artist Rasmus Myrup’s works and the museum’s historical art collection.

Creative Workshops for the Whole Family

Create Your Own Mythological Creature

Let your imagination run wild in the museum’s creative workshops, where you can craft your own sculpture using natural materials, yarn, and fabric. Will your creation be friendly or eerie? Beautiful or wild? The choice is yours.

Workshops Indoors and Outdoors

Get inspired by the stunning surroundings of Frederiksborg as workshops take place both inside and under the open sky. Bring the whole family and help bring these myths to life.

Rasmus Myrup – From Myths to Sculptures

From March 14, you can experience a special solo exhibition by Rasmus Myrup, who brings Nordic folklore figures to life and connects them to the modern world. His sculptures, made from materials found at the myths' places of origin, breathe new life into well-known and forgotten creatures.
